I guess this is it, this is the end of a year and the start of a new one! I'm always a bit happy and really sad when a new year rolls around, it means my kids have grown and will never be that age again but on the other hand it means my kids have grown and will never be this age again, haha! I'm kidding :0)
I am happy to see these pictures and what I accomplished this last year. It may not seem like a lot to some but it feels great knowing I did it and spent my time becoming better at something I enjoy all while clothing my children (literally ;0) and making them happy.
I think my favorite 3 posts this year are the cowboy shirt I made Preston, Carters scout shirt and the 3 shirts and 1 mishap post.
The most worn posts are all of Parkers clothes, haha! That boy seriously needed clothes all year and this blog definitely reflects that. My favorite shirt was the yellow one above (also in the 3 shirts 1 mishap post) and my favorite shorts I made him were the brown ones here, he wore them all summer and got compliments wherever we went.
The top post throughout the year has been How to get rid of grease stains. I'm glad that so many of you like this tutorial! It is something I use a few times a week and it has never failed me yet.
My next most popular post is the Button up shirt tutorial
And this one is one I don't understand but its been one of the top posts ever since I posted it almost 3 years ago.
Whenever I've shared free patterns this post has been the top one for quite awhile but this one has recently come in 2nd.
Isn't it interesting to see what people like and what was popular? I thought it was and always enjoy reading those types of posts ;0)
Its onto a new year and I'm excited! I don't know what this blog will become but I think I'll be posting more sewing (of course), perhaps share a bit more of our homeschool journey and I would like to share more DIY posts as its something I'm very interested in.
We'll see you next year!
