It's Christmas on Friday, can you believe it? I'm excited, so excited! Having little kids open their presents Christmas morning is one of my most favorite things, their expressions and the things they say are priceless.
I should warn that the following photos are just regular pictures of a real family decorating a Christmas tree. No perfectly cleaned home, no photoshoping, no perfectly dressed kids with clean faces, just a family being a family, messy faces and all ;0)
This year Parker actually helped with the tree and was so excited he kept placing the ornaments in the same spot and his face was too cute so we let them stay.
I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to our tree, most of the time I'm happy we even managed to get the darn tree up and decorated, haha! It is handy not being that way since the kids are so proud to tell whoever comes that they decorated the tree all by themselves and I am very happy they do so no thinks I would do such a terrible Lovely job all by myself.
Ok I did help a bit. But mostly I did the stockings and the lights around the windows.
Boys always have to show off their muscles, silly guys, haha!
This is our tree. Home decorated by the best stylists around! Its even hand tipped at the top for that extra "Charlie Brown" feel, I love it! Its something that I will always remember with fondness and be so sad when our tree is no longer shaped by little hands and fingers that are sticky from sneaking the candy canes.
I hope your Christmas is bright and merry! I will happily enjoying my husbands break and our school break while eating Christmas goodies. And maybe, just maybe we will have a white Christmas while not likely one can always hope!
Merry Christmas!
