My friend had a birthday and I wanted to make her something special so I tried an easy quilt.
I should write a disclaimer that I am not a quilter, I do not like projects that take oodles of time and precision so this is my idea of a quilt.
The blocks are semi appliqued on and stitched over to create a patched zigzag look.
The edge of the quilt is serged for an even easier and unique finish.
I then sewed in varying lines to "quilt" it.
My favorite part is actually the back where you can see the zigzags and the random lines better.
